Austin Reed is a British fashion house founded in 1900 in London. Austin Leonard Reed, opened his first shop on Fenchurch Street on the 7th July 1900 and it was the culmination of years of experience and hard work. He learnt the trade from his father and then from he studied at some of the most impressive retail outlets in the USA. Austin Leonard Reed was the first menswear retailer to specifically target the growing population of London commuters and he specialized in ready-to-wear menswear.
