Gellé Frères is a historic French perfume house established in 1826 by Jean-Baptiste and Augustin Willeborde Gellé in Paris. The brand gained fame by inheriting the secret floral formulas of Jean-Louis Fargeon, the official perfumer to Queen Marie-Antoinette. In the directory Firmin Didot of 1850, it is indicated: « Gellé Ainé et Cie, old house Gellé Frères, inventors of the regenerativeer to stop the hair loss, inventors of the Zuave cream, to dye at the minute, the beard, the mustache, the favorites.
