Herve Leger is a fashion house founded in 1985 by the French designer Hervé L. Leroux. The house is most famous for its iconic “bandage” or “body-conscious” dresses that emphasize women’s figure, made of bands of stretch fabrics, wool or silk. BCBG Max Azria Group bought Herve Leger house in 1998 and was the first American designer in history that succeeded in absorbing a French couturier.
