Izod is a sportswear and casual clothing company, founded in the USA in 1938. The story goes like this: An American businessman Vincent De Paul Draddy searched for the name of his new clothing brand. While he was on a vacation in London, he encountered well respected tailor Jack Izod and his boutique. Jack Izod himself created the Windsor tie-knot for King George V. He was ready to retire and he agreed to let Draddy purchase his brand’s name. The brand was named Izod of London.
