The brand was founded by two friends — Bobur Khon Fazilov and Abdulaziz Midrakhimov — who had represented world-renowned fragrance houses in Uzbekistan under the name Aroma Parfum since 2014. Yet a pivotal question eventually arose: "Why don’t we have a scent of our own? Why shouldn't our fragrance tell our story?" That question — along with frequent journeys to Spain — sparked the creation of MAWARANNAHR, officially established in 2025.
