Searching for lost relics of the occult in a remote desert, a narcissistic explorer, driven by his desire for fame, seeks a legendary artefact within a hidden tomb. After days of searching he finally discovers it, slashing through the vines covering the entrance he steps into darkness. Venturing deeper through miles of passages, the air thickens with undisturbed Oakmoss and Musk, constricting his breath. Eventually, he reaches the deepest chamber, stepping cautiously inside he notices a glass bottle resting atop a stone pedestal, but there is something else. A sharp chill runs down the explorer's spine. In the darkness of the room, stands a faceless cloaked figure; Death itself. It speaks with a rattling breath, "Breathe in this elixir to manifest your dreams, but know that nothing in life comes freely" gesturing towards the bottle. The explorer hesitates, but his impulsiveness takes root. He reaches out, grasps the bottle and inhales deeply, a blend of leather, cardamom and sweet amber engulf him. Beneath that though, lies an ominous fragrance reminiscent of an impending storm. A subtle, evil laugh emanates from death's faceless void, a macabre acknowledgement of the explorer's choice. The explorer realises the irreversible deal he has made as Death vanishes like dissipating smoke. As years pass, the explorer's success and fame inexplicably grow along with the echoes of Death's words, growing louder until the day eventually comes. Alone in his study, darkness descends, and a familiar, foreboding presence materialises. The explorer's heart pounds in his chest as his final breath merges with the mysterious scent of the elixir that had brought him fortune, and he succumbs to death’s inescapable touch. The explorer's fame and success were soon forgotten, yet his soul remains in death’s possession, cursed to roam aimlessly in the land of never ending night, for death always collects what it’s owed, in the end
