Bertrand Duchaufour is a French perfumer known for his work with both mainstream and niche perfume brands. He began his career in 1985 at the Lautier Florasynth group in Grasse before working for several years at Créations Aromatiques and Symrise, where he honed his skills as a fine fragrance perfumer. Duchaufour's first signed fragrance, Amber & Lavender for Jo Malone, was launched in 1995. He went on to create fragrances for a variety of perfume houses, including Penhaligon's, Acqua di Parma, Comme des Garcons, Givenchy, and Christian Dior.
