Born and raised in Canada, She launched her brand in 2000, leading her to complete her studies at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in 2007 focusing on an International Technical degree in perfumery. She interned at Robertet & Mane et Fils in Grasse following her education. Since 2011, her company has been based full-time in Grasse, and she has continued her work as an independent perfumer and artistic director. In the summer of 2024, she founded the 1000 Flowers Academy in Grasse, with a focus on raw materials and fragrance formulation training based on the Jean Carles Method.
