Drawn to the world of fragrance, she pursued a formal education in the field and graduated from the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school in 1997. Under the guidance of esteemed perfumers Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Bertrand Duchaufour at Symrise/Florasynth, Julien honed her skills before joining Takasago. In 1998, Marypierre Julien joined the team at Quest, which Givaudan, a global leader in fragrance creation, later acquired.
