Mathilde Bijaoui was born in Paris, carrying a dual heritage of her father's vibrant North African culture and her mother's traditional French upbringing. She inherited both traits, shaping her character and creativity. From a young age, Bijaoui's father introduced her to the world of cooking, where she developed a keen sense of smell while exploring various ingredients at the market. This exposure to different aromas sparked her fascination with scents. Bijaoui's passion for fragrance grew after a visit to the Osmothèque, the international perfume conservatory in Versailles.
