Shyamala Maisondieu, an internationally acclaimed perfumer, was born in Malaysia into a Malay and Indian family. Raised in a multicultural environment, she developed a unique perspective on the world, later influencing her work as a perfumer. Shyamala moved to London for her education, where her passion for fragrance would eventually emerge. While living in Hong Kong, she discovered her talent for creating scents and decided to pursue a career in perfumery.
