Sophia Grojsman is a visionary perfumer whose passion for flowers and plants began at an early age. As a child in Belarus, she was enamored with the tastes and smells of the natural world, and spent her playtime with flowers. Sophia's family later moved to Poland, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in analytical inorganic chemistry. In 1965, Sophia immigrated to the United States and began her career at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. as a lab assistant. Her mentors included Josephine Catapano and Ernest Shiftan, two legendary American perfumers.
